Tai Chi is a Chinese exerise composed of a series of fluid movements through which partipants gain strength, flexibility and vitality.  This 8-week session includes one 1-hour class per week, and the registration is $72 for seniors.

We teach a derivate of the Wu style; the form we teach is a more modern form which encourages equally balanced activity (left and right); modifications/simplifications toward more logical, positional learning-order; and a Tai Chi 1 (intro class) and Tai Chi 2 (advanced class) components that build on and combine with each other.  The form we teach was developed in the late 1950's - specifically for victims of landmine injuries and is rather unique as it can be done standing, sitting or prone, depending on mobility and accommodations.  Students also enjoy learning our introductory form where there are not as many postures.
