Notification of Public Rights under Title VI
The Senior Resource Center of Douglas County operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes s/he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with Senior Resource Center administration. SRC futher follows and complies with the City of Lawrence Title VI Program.
In addition to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act protections, the Senior Resource Center is committed to anti-discrimination and inclusivity for all. This includes but is not limited to: race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age, military status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected status.

A complainant may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor-TCR, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20590
